We don’t like rules on dictating how you should enjoy something like Grander. This is where we want you to pave your own path. Some of you will only want to savor Grander neat, others will pour it over ice and some will add water. Then there are those who will want to make a memorable cocktail. If that’s the case, we’d like to offer you a couple of ideas.

No matter how you experience Grander, you'll be satisfied knowing that you have one of the world’s great spirits in your glass.

Grandhattan

Grandhattan Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of Grander Rum
  • 1 ounce of sweet vermouth (preferably Carpano Antica)
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Preparation

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Grander Old-Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of Grander Rum
  • ¼ ounce of Demerara Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Preparation

Stir ingredients over ice and strain over large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel and cherry.

Copper & Brass

Copper & Brass Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of Grander Rum
  • ½ ounce of sweet vermouth (preferably Carpano Antica)
  • ½ ounce of Campari

Preparation

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir for 30 seconds. Strain over one large cube into a rocks glass.

Grander Thymes Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces Grander
  • 2 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz thyme infused simple syrup

Preparation

Add all ingredients to a glass, shake vigorously for 30 seconds, pour over ice and garnish with lemon wedge and fresh thyme.

Paloma

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Grander
  • 1.5 oz grapefruit soda
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • 1 lime wedge

Preparation

Stir ingredients together and serve over ice, then garnish with lime wedge.

The Grand Cuban

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Grander
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • ¾ oz lime juice
  • 2 oz Prosecco / Champagne
  • 1 or 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 6 mint leaves

Preparation

Gently bruise the mint with lime juice in a shaker. Add Grander, syrup, bitters and ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain into coupe and top with Prosecco.

Ginger Mojito

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Grander
  • ¼ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz lime juice
  • 5 mint leaves
  • Splash of Ginger Ale

Preparation

Lightly muddle mint in the base of glass. Add Grander, simple syrup, lime juice, ice and stir for 30 seconds. Top with splash of Ginger Ale and more ice.

Grangelico

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Grander
  • 1 oz Frangelico
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • ¼ oz Angostura bitters
  • Splash of grenadine

Preparation

Add all ingredients into cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain mixture into a Collins glass with crushed ice and add a splash of grenadine.

Grand Julep

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Grander
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 4 mint leaves

Preparation

Add mint and simple syrup into cocktail shaker. Slightly muddle to get the oil aroma of mint and then add Grander and ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour mixture into cocktail glass full of ice and garnish with mint.

The Daiquiri

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Grander
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice

Preparation

Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into chilled coupe glass.

Blackberry Basil

Blackberry Basil Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Grander
  • 1 oz blackberry syrup
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 or 2 dashes Angostura bitters (or Fernet)

Preparation

Add Grander, blackberry syrup, lime juice and ice into shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into glass with ice. Optional – top with Angostura bitters.

 

Blackberry Basil Syrup Recipe:

In a food processor, blend 2 cups of blackberries (can substitute raspberries), 25 basil leaves and 2 cups of sugar. Separately, add 2 cups of water to saucepan and bring to boil. Slowly pour the blackberry, basil and sugar mixture into boiling water and let reduce. Cool, strain and bottle the syrup. Store syrup in refrigerator when not in use.
