Yet, it was rum that called to me from the horizon. Sailing in the Caribbean, I discovered its purity, its elegance. It wasn’t just another drink. It was adventure, captured in a glass.
My transition from bourbon to rum started with distillation courses. With a bourbon-soaked background, I pondered: Could rum be crafted as purely, as authentically?
A journey that took me to panama
After leaving my corporate life behind, I followed my passion and found an opportunity. High-quality, genuine rum was a path less trodden. I took the plunge, armed with a vision to infuse bourbon’s authenticity and craftsmanship into the rum world.
Thus, Grander Rum came into being. No additives. Just water, yeast, molasses, oak, and time. My quest took me to Panama, to the artisans who have been making rum for generations. Their tradition, their craftsmanship, mirrored my own vision. Together, we distilled something real.
